Wearing an oil free foundation over a breakout won't make it worse, right?
I just recently got a break-out, and so i was wondering if it would be okay to wear this loreal "super blendable" oil free make-up (it's like a foundatin i guess) and clinique pressed powder to cover it up. it won't make it worse or anything, right?
Well..first things first. If you have a breakout, make sure you are washing your face in the morning and before bed. If you have long hair, pin it back or put it in a ponytail when you sleep. The oils from your hair can cause breakouts. Washing your face often will definitely eliminate breakouts.
As far as putting on foundation over your problem areas, if you have redness like a zit, it's best to use a green (Yes, green) concealer. Physicians Formula has a really good one. Just dab it over your red spots (zits, rosacia, whatever) and it will counter-act your redness. Of course you'll need to blend it in very well with your normal foundation. It'll hide it really well.
Also, another little tip---if you take 2 aspirin and some visine and kind of squish it around in your palm it'll turn into a paste and you can put that on your zits. It will clear it up really quick. I really hope this helps you! Have a good day!!!
